We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe in the Trinity--that one God exists in three persons as God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that mankind was made for a relationship with God but chose to sin and lost the privilege of that relationship. Through the virgin birth of Jesus, his life, death, and resurrection, God made a way for that relationship to be restored. This happens when we follow Christ in faith, trusting that He accomplished what was needed to obtain our salvation. We demonstrate our commitment to Christ by living our life in a way that will please God; we will demonstrate godly characteristics and share our good news with others.
We believe the church is a visible assembly of baptized believers gathered together for the purpose of carrying out the Great Commission (Acts 1:8), that the church has Christ as the head, the Holy Spirit for her guide and the Bible as her only rule of faith and practice. We believe that all Christians should be a part of a local church and serve there with the gifts and abilities that they've been given by God.
We believe in baptism by immersion for believers only. This ordinance, along with celebrating the Lord's Supper, is to be administered by the authority of the local church.
It is our purpose to, "Learn and Do in Jesus Name," and our mission is to "Love God, Love Others, Serve the World."
